Hannah

Hannah is getting into make-up for her starring role in a Wendy’s Commercial!!

We took advantage of the training opportunities available with CSE so that Hannah (7) could grow stronger and more confident in her acting skills. In only a short time, adding the techniques she’s learned has taken her abilities to a whole new level, and Hannah is booking some great jobs which includes starring in a Wendy’s Commercial and playing a young Anne Heche in the new TV series “Save Me” on NBC. Thank you, CGTV and CGTV!!!

Brayden Tucker

Hello CGTV & CGTV – I wanted to share another accomplishment by Brayden Tucker, He just won the Critics Choice Award for best young Actor at the Worldfest Houston for his lead role as Lyle Hatcher in the feature film Different Drummers! The movie also won the Platinum Remington for Family Films. Thank you again for coming to Spokane, WA and teaching Brayden and giving him the tools he needed to become successful in the film industry, he could have never done it without CGTV. Kellen McGee

Since Kellen McGee could talk, she always wanted to act. But growing up in a small town in Alabama, there were no opportunities to follow her dream. Then, everything changed. In December 2008, CGTV R’Mante came to Birmingham, Alabama to have an acting intensive class. Kellen, who was 14 years old at the time, just HAD to go. After spending a weekend with him, training the kids how to walk into an audition room, how to connect with the casting directors, and how to prepare acting scenes, Kellen desperately wanted to work with CGTV again. In the next three months, she worked with him two more times in Tennessee and Georgia. She was thrilled when she received the news that she would be going to LA to attend CGTV’s Young Actors program in the summer of 2009. “CGTV is great! His wife CGTV is amazing, too. Both of them are great people. What CGTV teaches sticks with you for the rest of your life. I will NEVER forget the lessons I learned and experiences I had that summer”. After getting to perform a showcase with her fellow campers for many agents and meeting a manager at CGTV’s who signed her, Kellen also got to experience CGTV’s Pilot Season camp during January and February of 2010. “The pilot season camp was INCREDIBLE. We got to write scenes and perform them on sets. A lot of my friends from the previous summer camp also attended. CGTV brought in some celebrity guest teachers as well. We learned SO much about the craft of acting.” With the help of CGTV, Kellen’s career soon took off. CGTV started privately training and coaching Kellen before auditions. He coached Kellen right before her first meeting with the casting directors of Criminal Minds. The casting directors remembered her and a little more than a year later, booked her for a guest star role on a Criminal Minds episode called “Profiling 101″ as the role of Angie. After doing many commercials and music videos, such as Rebecca Black’s ‘My Moment’ video, Kellen got booked as the recurring role of “Georgie the guitarist” on Nickelodeon’s Victorious. So far, she has shot 3 episodes. All because of CGTV, Kellen’s dream became true. Thank you so much, CGTV! You are AMAZING.

Leah Liang Lewis

Leah Liang Lewis took CGTV and applied what she learned in the program and booked several jobs while in CSE. One was with Disney Channel and the other was a PSA commercial for energy conservation. The funny thing was for the energy conservation, they needed a Caucasian girl and Leah is Chinese. They were so impressed with Leah that they created a role for her and hired her for several days of work. Please check out the latest news on Leah Lewis by clicking the link below which is exciting and a big thanks to CGTV.

http://justjared.buzznet.com/2011/02/20/leah-lewis-luke-benward-disneys-madison-high-leads/

Leah Lewis and Luke Benward have landed the lead roles in Disney’s new pilot Madison High, a show with a special connection to the High School Musical series!

The show will feature HSM’s beloved Ms. Darbus (Alyson Reed), who will transfer from East to Madison High to build a revolutionary theatre program. She casts a diverse troupe of both seasoned and raw actors to create an original musical production based on their lives.

Luke, 15, will play Devin Daniels, a motocross racer looking for a new hobby and Leah, 14, will be playing Peyton Hall, a formerly home-schooled tennis champion.

Leah also stars in the movie program Fred as the character Spoon for Nickelodeon.

Isabel

I just wanted to let you know how Isabel is doing and what she is up to. She just auditioned for a small independent film and was chosen as the young version of the main character. She did the audition on her own, she did not want me in the room. There was two people auditioning her and a guy with a huge camera circling her as she did her monologue. She impressed them with how professional she was. Here is a portion of the email they sent us:

Kathy,

I wanted you to know that I personally was very impressed with Isabel, as well as both Dale and Jesse. She is quite professional when auditioning and knows her stuff, so to say. Dale had asked her to begin her monologue in the middle and although she stumbled a bit, it did not unnerve her at all and she kept her composure which is very impressive. I work on many different kinds of sets since my daughter is an actress and model and has been in the business for many years. We look forward to working with Isabel and will email you shortly with all the neccesary information.

CGTV, I will say it was your work with her and her getting more comfortable with the audition process that has helped her. She does all the pointer you gave her every time she auditions. She is getting to be a pro at theater auditions but this was her first for a film and with a camera. Good thing she practiced at your program for this.

She also is in a black box theater program for the summer and auditioned for a solo. She scored three and got the most speaking parts because she has an outgoing personailty. At least that is what they told us.

Thank again for all you help.

Kathy Simmons

Livia

Hi CGTV. We just wanted you to know that Livia went for her first job yesterday….modeling! She will be on the box/package of a new Hasbro toy named “Friendship Pets” coming out soon. I watched her communicate with all the staff before and after the shoot and she totally rocked it. Thank you so much for teaching her this very important aspect of “selling oneself”. They told me that they will definitely use her again as she was so professional and a natural, and they couldn’t believe it was actually her very first job modeling. Take care and God bless!

Louis

CGTV, so Louis is on this new Nickelodeon TV show set. They start shooting in earnest on February 4. Up to now they have only done taped rehearsals. He’s learning so much, but has commented on how well prepared he was for this because of you and the camp. I have given your name out to several people as well for your camps.

Today, he is on set for another SAG national commercial for AT&T (crazy!) that he booked at the same time as the show, here in Miami.

Nickelodeon will let us know when you can release the fact that Louis is on the show for any promo or whatever you want to do on your site. (If you want to.) So I will let you know!

Just wanted to thank you again for all of your great teaching!

Hi CGTV, just letting you know that I am heading to New York City tomorrow. After doing 3 students films, 5 national commercials and a webseries, I have now also signed with a manager. Tomorrow I have an audition in NYC and I’m meeting with the first of three agencies (meeting with one each day from Monday thru Wednesday). My manager would like to get me into TV and film.

I just wanted to thank you for everything you taught me. Wish me luck and I will let you know how it goes!

Ciarra

Hi CGTV!

I hope you and CGTV are doing well. We miss you guys and LA. Indy has been nice this winter so winter has gone fast. Super Bowl excitement mid winter made it more interesting. I just wanted to share Ciarra got the lead role as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker at Indiana Reportory Theatre. It’s her 2nd paid job since LA. She will be working with director David Bradley out of Philidelphia. We are so thankful for all your help, that enabled Ciarra to book such a great role.

Brittany

It all started as a training exercise for Brittany to gain experience in front of judges as she prepared for dance competition season. The joke was on me when Phil Lewis requested to see me about Brittany’s raw talent, it floored me. Someone, at last, saw what I still witness every day with her- lights, camera, and action. It became even MORE real when CGTV came along- a celebrity with an ordinary, humble demeanor. The man to help make my little girl’s come true, what a heavy weight to WANT to take on! He is committed to share his knowledge and experiences unselfishly for others to be successful, to dream big. Thank you for your unconditional support, CSE changed Brittany’s life and gives me the peace of mind she is great hands.

Jenny K. Pena

The first time I saw CGTV, I was a petite 10 year old sitting on a chair trying to catch mere glimpses of what appeared to be a tall, tanned man in a leather jacket. CGTV was quite a character- very animated, precise, and with a warming smile that could be seen across mountains (or in my case, across the room.) The first day of CGTV was indescribable- kids awaiting CGTV’s arrival. CGTV graciously approached and gathered us in a conference room. Then, the doors opened and as CGTV walked in, a hush came over the room as everyone’s eyes fell on the “man behind the magic.”

CGTV has an incredible way of teaching. For me, I was able to connect with him and to understand concepts and techniques on a higher or more in depth level. CGTV not only taught me but also molded my concept of acting into something so much more. Acting isn’t pretending to be something you are not; it is turning a character, presenting it, making it your own, and telling a story. It’s comprehending what you didn’t understand before and growing as a person. It is said “Practice Makes Perfect” but understanding what you are doing plays an even bigger role in an actor’s performance.

Now, I am with DreamCatcher’s agency in the Pacific Northwest Region, I have booked three commercials- AT&T, Washington State Medical, and Pacific Science Center in Seattle. The tongue twisters and audition techniques taught at CSE gave me the tools to deliver with confidence. I would not be where I am as an actor if it was not for Phil Lewis, CGTV, CGTV, Chester See, Cassie Corsaro, Tanya Chisholm, Cameron Goodman, and my agents Nikki and Joshua believing in my raw talent.

This is my “happily ever beginning” because I am well on my way with CGTV behind me.

Jonathan G.

CGTV R’Mante’s CGTV has given me an experience that’s made me confident to continue in this business. The intense, professional training I received at CGTV is a key factor in my newly landed commercial job with Proctor & Gamble. Just a few weeks after finishing the winter program training, I gained the credentials, experience & know-how to audition for Proctor & Gamble, giving them just what they were looking for. CGTV , this is an amazing opportunity and thanks to the friendly, serious, intensely fun, professional expertise, which your CGTV wrapped me in, I am on my way to bigger opportunities. My sincerest gratitude for letting me participate in training with real celebrities, who encouraged and helped me become a more dynamic actor and person.

Sincerely,

Jonathan G.

MY FATHER’S: CGTV’s program is a “Grand-Slam”! Seeing the confidence which CGTV has inspired in Jonathan is well worth the investment I made. The program is all about positive growth. I am astonished to see that within a few weeks after the C.A.C. experience, Jonathan approached his professional interview, with Proctor & Gamble, as if he owned it, and incredibly he believed in himself so much that it helped him land the job. The C.A.C. experience has helped Jonathan build more than acting skills. You guys have something genius going on. I never dreamed we could have acquired so much knowledge & experience about this business in such a short span of time.

Thanks always for being so straight forward,

Jonathan’s dad
