CGTV Grad Proves Persistence Pays!

CGTV

CGTV could brag for days and days about the successes our students have seen in TV and FILM because of the CGTV program. Instead, we urge you to review the success stories that we have created from grads and parents alike. Listen to what one mom has to say below.

We had been hearing about CGTV from an acquaintance for years.  Julian has been asking us to get him involved in acting since he was just five years old.  We did not act on it right away, we assumed it was a passing phase and waited for him to move on to his next idea.  But, he didn’t stop bugging me.  He was very persistent and continually asking me to please look into it.  I decided to sign up to receive emails.  My husband and I finally made the decision that we would help Julian pursue his dream.  The next day, CGTV sent out an email stating they were auditioning in LA.  We took this as a sign, and we signed him up.

I didn’t think he was nervous at all, but I was!  He was very excited but I had no idea how to prepare him so we did not prepare at all.  We told him to do his best and hope for the best, but expect the worst.  The last thing we wanted was for our son to get his hopes up only to be crushed by a Disney Star.  We decided that if this was what Julian truly wanted to do, that we would figure out a way to help him succeed.  We later found out that Julian was very nervous and that he had prepared on his own, practicing every chance he got.

When we arrived at the CGTV audition, Julian was very nervous when he saw that he would be auditioning for Hutch Dana, the Disney Star from Zeke & Luther.  Julian did great under pressure and told me that he felt good about his audition no matter how it went. I tried to stay positive for my son, but also tried to prepare him for the potential of not being selected.  Waiting was hard and definitely stressful.

Hutch thought Julian had real star potential and we got that callback.  We were so excited for Julian, we were astonished as parents and made a decision that we would invest in our son.  We have taught our children to follow their dreams and supporting them was never in question.  More importantly, Julian made a commitment to attend the program, do his best and really put his heart into it.  He was super grateful that we were willing to support him.

My favorite part of the program was watching Julian grow.  Every day, he changed, in a good way.  He was hungry for the notes given at the end of each scene and fought hard to improve every second, minute and hour of the day.  While Julian had been on stage for years as a dancer, this LIVE show at the ACME theater was new for him.  We wondered if the Hollywood Agents and Managers in the audience would see what Hutch saw in our Julian.  We desperately tried to prepare ourselves and Julian for if they did not.

Did we get a callback?  We got 4 callbacks the first time we did the All-Star Weekend and another 4 callbacks the second time we went back to CGTV.  Eight callbacks from agents and producers that would have never given us the time of day without the association to Adrian R’Mante and CGTV.  I was totally unprepared and blown away by the interest in my son.

Adrian and his cast of actor trainers helped Julian so much.  So many doors have opened for him and he has learned so much.  Truly, this is the fast track to Hollywood success, IF your child has a natural talent.  This program truly lived up to everything we expected and more!  Adrian truly is there for you…and I don’t know how he does it!!!  The experience is completely priceless. Julian’s life would not have been the same without his CGTV experience.

CGTV Grad Making Waves In Hollywood!

CGTVEarlier in the year we wrote about an amazing talent we scouted in Arizona last October, Bailey Axen.  You can read his initial article by Clicking Here.  Bailey scored a multitude of offers from Hollywood Agents and Managers at his CGTV Live Performance showcase at the end of the training program.

After doing our homework, we decided on an agent and a manager from the CGTV Showcase evening.  Since then, Bailey has been on numerous auditions for feature films with A list Hollywood actors attached to them and for many commercials.  Bailey has auditioned for Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel.   Recently Bailey has been put on hold by a producer for a national television commercial and Lisa London, one of the most influential casting agents in Hollywood brought Bailey in to audition to play a young Adam Sandler in his new Netflix Movie.  Lisa London was an additional resource that Bailey picked up at CGTV.  Her book from Start to Stardom is a great tool and resource for anyone pursuing acting seriously.

Bailey has quickly discovered that this profession is tough and requires patience, persistence and passion.  Acting is hard work and to be really great, you have to continue to improve by taking workshops, classes and hiring coaches that can help you grow and be competitive in the market place.  Just like an athlete or entrepreneur, an actor must put in the work to receive the rewards.  Even through rejection, Bailey keeps a smile is grateful for the opportunity and moves on to the next shot.  CGTV and Adrian R’Mante prepared him for this road, so it was not unfamiliar when he had to walk it alone.

Stardom is rarely an overnight success!  Getting a reputable Hollywood Agent and Manager alone can take years and years of rejections.  CGTV took years of pursuit out of our equation and put Bailey directly in front of the talent agents and managers that could launch his career.  Now, it’s up to Bailey.  One thing that has been crucial is celebrating the wins.  Getting an audition is a win.  Getting a call back is another.  Being put on hold is a win.  Booking the job is the prize and it’s not easy.  But when you love acting as much as Bailey does, you pursue your dream relentlessly with all of your heart.

Bailey is extremely grateful and feels very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to work with Adrian R’Mante and CGTV and feels he received the tools he needed to start him down his true career path.  Bailey has booked his first TV role, 6 months after graduating from CGTV.  He is guest starring on an episode of Adam Ruins Everything called Adam Ruins the Wild West!

Pilot season is just around the corner and Bailey is super excited for the calls he expects to receive from his agent and manager.

The truth is, CGTV could host auditions every week in Los Angeles and still come up with plenty of kids and young adults that want to be on TV and/or in the movies.  In fact, it would cost considerably less than doing what we do which is to travel the globe looking for the biggest and brightest new stars this planet has to offer.  That’s right planet!

CGTV has helped kids and young adults with their acting careers from many countries and the list continues to grow.  From Canada to Singapore, Mexico and then some, CGTV finds, nurtures and delivers new talent to Hollywood’s doorstops every year.

Not only is Adrian R’Mante an excellent actor and well known Disney icon, he is a teacher first and foremost.  It is in the classroom and theatre environment that his other passions and skills shine.  From the ages of 3+, kids and young adults alike have come to know Adrian as a tough mentor, coach and director that brings out the best in his acting students.  And nurtures them with confidence and self esteem.

Adrian is featured here at CGTV’s VIP Acting Program in Hollywood, CA.

Kids audition all over the globe to be one of the 5-10% of the kids that are invited to work with Adrian R’Mante in California and then perform in front of his personal Hollywood Agent connections.  With an over 80% success rate in getting a professional agent call back, CGTV is the leading premiere in training young talent both for television and the big screen.

But wait, there’s more… Adrian’s star studded celebrity teachers have also featured on many Disney shows you have seen and they provide additional training onsite during the times you are not working directly with Adrian.

Acting is a difficult business and actors must become accustomed to handling rejection with grace and humility.  Because it is such a tough industry, we are equally as proud of our graduates whether they score a cornflakes commercial or a role in a Brad Pitt film.

We find our students by hosting auditions in cities across the globe and are probably headed to your state (or close by) sometime soon.  It was in Florida that we found RJ Cyler.  We have boasted a bit about his accomplishments since attending CGTV’s acting program.
We are proud to announce that RJ Cyler whom has starred in Me, Earl & The Dying Girl and is currently filming Power Rangers 2017 in which he was cast as The Blue Ranger.  Now, we hear he has been cast in a Brad Pitt film.

CGTV Turned Me Into A Working Actor

CGTV was an amazing and fruitful experience for Kiara Corkett.  During her program she spent time working with our CEO, Adrian R’Mante from The Suite Life of Zack And Cody as well as Bex Taylor-Klaus from MTV’s Scream and Arrow and many more celebrity actors.  In fact, CGTV found Bex Taylor-Klaus at an audition in a local city the same way we found Kiara Corkett.

Since her graduation, Kiara is working with an agent and has a busy summer ahead.  She is currently shooting the movie Bagman, two commercials for Canada’s 150th birthday next year, two web series (She’s Back In My Life and another whose title is yet to be announced).  These projects span the genres of horror, drama and even sketch comedy and part of that reason is due to the training in versatility provided by CGTV.
The family keeps us up to date on her progress and is very grateful to the program and Adrian himself.

Dylan Madison was skeptical about CGTV but that didn’t last long! Listen to what one of our recent CGTV Graduates had to say about our acting program and what it did for her.

Skeptic is won over by CGTV

Adrian R’Mante, I just wanted to thank you for this amazing opportunity. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have been a part of this and to have met all the people that I did. I was definitely skeptical at first and didn’t believe that this program would truly benefit me. However, I was SO wrong. You made it a safe and comfortable environment where everyone could grow and perform to their highest potential. I learned more than I thought was possible and I will never forget this trip and the all people who helped me. So thank you again for all that you do!”

At CGTV, we strive to do the impossible – make your Hollywood dream come true.  We provide the training and real life experience required to shine both on and off camera.

CGTV is an incubator for kids and young adults.  While we do accept talented adults into our program, our main focus are kids and young adults ages 5-25.  We have about an 80% success rate in getting our graduates called back by top Hollywood managers, agents and/or agencies.  For those that do not attain one on the first try out, we allow them to come back, at no cost and try again.  Even if they don’t get an agent the first time, they are gaining the tools of the trade for a lifetime.

Read what Emilee Rempel had to say about CGTV:

 Learned at CGTV

“Hi, my name is Emilee Rempel and I was in the CGTV program in July 2015!  The program was an amazing experience and I gained a lot from it like; learning how to get into character, learning how to do an audition properly, improv technique, how to make a monologue and lots more. It was very fun for me because I got to meet new people and make lots of friends. My favorite part of it all was getting to perform in front of everyone, whenever I get up on stage it always makes me feel this certain type of way that you cant really explain, its just really exciting to me, acting lets me be anyone I want to be it lets me escape from the real world and really just be who I am. Adrian really helped me with all of that because he taught me how to be the best actor you can be, he taught me how to perfect everything. Adrian is an awesome mentor and how he got to where he is today, really inspires me. He treated us  normally, he doesn’t think he’s better than anyone, he treated everyone equal and made us feel special. He helped me build confidence in myself.  Again, really good program and I hope others enjoyed it as much as I did  ☺  Emilee Rempel
